If I had money, I would go there to have it complement my performance. Everybody in film tells me I should be an actress..since my mimics are really intense. Everybody in the family has that- my famous cousin didn't become a comedian by chance. That is the only thing I will miss wearing a mask..albeit I wont wear a full head costume all the time..mostly, I intend to have the face painted all-over, in red, white or black- matching my costume. Since one identifies with the face, primarily, this might be a good idea.
It is strange..the more I am doing creative stuff, the more I become interested in my face. It IS strange..Anyways. :)
I just booked into a course in mask play- a specific course teaching pantomime actors wearing a mask how to be more physically expressive to balance their lack of facial expression. Handy..I am looking forward to it!
