Job search.

..a bit awkward in a state when you are half panicking due to past experiences here and half curious as your energy is returning a bit. Which enables me to look at some job offers at least. Doesn't mean I am able to go for decent positions yet- my brain causes problems with that. It is like a storm of emotions keeping my energy busy.

But I am looking at companies that interest me, regional companies- and saturday, the Krone Oberösterreich had a VERY interesting article in it..a hilarious one, almost.

Concerning the local jobcenter, and their (almost regular I am tempted to say) fucking up. There was a waitress- she wanted to work again after child's leave. She had a job offer, and an appointment. They wouldn't let her take it- one of the job center courses was prioritised. She didn't get the job..then she called the newspaper.

Which is just what I did this morning. Gave them my number, explained my situation to them and said that if they'd need another story in the future, I could deliver that.

It does not have to do with incompetence, or bad on the job training. Well- incompetence it is. Social incompetence, sheer cruelty, lack of empathy, disregard for others. And the consultants get paid well, compared to similar positions. So there is NO excuse here- orders from above can always be circumvented. Or adapted to the needs of the person in front of you. Whoever doesn't do that in times like these, and in front of a needy person, is a pig. Simple as that. I think I have abundant experience in suffering and hardship- and things like I have experienced there cannot be excused by the latter.

They cannot be excused by being unhappy in the job, any family drama or the like. This is why I am now looking for a good job, that takes me on respecting my individual background- mid or end of June.  Preferably one far, far away. I have a great deal of (applied, and academic) knowledge to offer- which is worth close to nothing here.

That is if I dont get any of the grants I am applying for in the arts. Which will delay the relocation for a couple of months.
