..^^..a friend of mine has the habit to nickname the women in his life..which reminds me of Osho, who named his disciples after the tasks they apparently had to fulfill in this reincarnation (an elderly friend of mine, Vanshi (the flute), once lived in his Ashram in Pune).
Anyways, this friend gave me the name "jade girl" (jade as in the gemstone).
..which made me think of other nicknames I had over the years..^^..almost all of them fit into three cathegories:
- "mad scientist"-type: the nutty professor (given to me by my soulsister, Jemma), Pinky Brain (Like the Pinky and the Brain rolled into one ;)-Thanks, Rainer..^^..)
- the "Empress"-type: "Empress Sissy", "Queen Elizabeth" (the 1st, of England), "The Princess", "your Majesty"- all by my grandmother and grand-aunt.
and, finally..*Grmpf*..the "sweet girl"-type: Sweetheart (Mitch always calls me that and I HATE him for it..!:), Sweetie, Honey, Sumsi (a female bee, mascot for a popular bank here..), ...and so on. Right..pat me on the head and feed me a cookie!...I was suggesting to a friend last time that I might ask Slipknot to borrow me one of their masks, and see if they still find me that "cute", after all..*grin*..
Some more that won't fit into any of the above cathegory:
"red flash" (from school-times, when we used to have running tournaments..I had hip-long copper-red hair and always wore a red T-shirt for some reason, hence: red flash), "yellow fever" (my skin has a gold tone over a pale complexion, which might look golden when I feel well or have a light tan, and yellowish when I dont), "Pumuckl" (I beat the guy up who called me that when I was 11..the only guy that ever cried in front of my eyes..and he deserved it..Pumuckl is a red-headed fairy creature from popular German children's comics.. a wise-cracker, who constantly annoys people by playing (naughty) tricks on them..^^..ok, the latter part isnt that bad..).
