Marie Curie Stencil.

Waiting to be able to buy decent equipment, because the stencil cutter (even though it wont be as visible on my face) is not a very precise tool. ://

Marie Curie researched on uranium, and co-discovered polonium and radium. I chose the atomic structure of Radium as a base because it is also my initials and those of someone I loved (I couldn't have taken "Po" for Polonium because in German that is an expression for "ass", though "U" for uranium was an option). :D....
((I totally respect this woman so I couldn't possibly have her wer an ass in her face. ;) ))
I used to work on Logos comprising the R and the A long time ago. so it also represents me. :) I love holistic design.

The base is a mask, then comes the atomic structure and the Ra comes in handy because it is just where the third eye is (Radium means "ray"). ;) The rest of the makeup will be added by hand. :)

(Almost) Every character in the video (if I don't start with Quantum as a first one, because it is actually a real song..) will have an airbrush makeup custom-tailored to her. Frida will be the most intense to do. :)

I just found this girl with a Uranium structure tatoo and think it is most beautiful..WOW. :)

A Weekend of..

..stencil cutting, an apron for "The Doll", shoulderpads for a street outfit, and covering the pedestal for Sylvia Plath's heart (Frida, Sylvia and Marie get a lot of attention here..^^..)- neat work, eventually, and I was very proud of myself. Things are getting lighter, and I finally seem to attract good people (here and there). People willing to collaborate and exchange. :)

I might change the letters on the typewriter a bit- it spells (in reference to my trademark, the mask/non-existant face): "And I have no face- I have wanted to efface myself". A quote from one of Sylvia's poems. Well I havent wanted to efface myself..my facelessness has more to do with the Butoh attitude and wanting to give more space to art in itself than self-eradication. :)..but I consider the quote fitting in the context of a song that showcases how many things go wrong these days, and how people are being mislead and deformed by (some aspects of) society.

All will be used in the video, and possibly for some performances later on..or, else, on stage at some point. :) One might notice that the heart wears a golden pendant with an image of St. Mary. I was given it by a connaissance, and found it somehow suitable, as the accompanying lines in the video will be "(Oh, Frida, brushes can be daggers)/and cursive letters knives/as Sylvia, we're still in the bell jar.."- and some extra protection  will do that tender heart some good..it's hard enough being kept underneath a bell jar ;D. I KNOW I'M CRAZY...^^..
