I have always refrained from "professionalizing" my blog.
1. because it was simply supposed to be a logbook in the original blog-sense, and a possible base for a later novel or book.
2. Despite my earlier Business studies, I am not the money greedy type- and as an artist, money isn't the first thing you think about when creating something.
3. I simply do not have the time to read up on everything "extra", like how to customize Layouts etc.
Now, after all those years (8 to be precise), and wanting to build my own business now which takes money, I need to look out for alternative means of "income"- respectively donations. I could link this blog up for adsense, but I am not yet registered as a business (at least not where and how I want to be registered). And I do not do tax fraud. However small it may be.
Donations are tax-free, and a "donate" button is probably less irritating than adverts.
So if you are a year-long reader, and have some cash to spare, please donate! :)
