I'm Exhausted. Recently, I have been on two Top20, one Top10, and a bucketload of other podcasts- talking about our Flashmob project (not all online as yet). I screwed up two of the Top podcasts. Too early, too late- I was always just tired.
We shifted the beginning of the Flashmobs to February, to save us all from burning out. Saba broke my heart by putting money before values- her choice. But good to have this early- it saves a heartbreak at a more critical stage. Arsenijs will be signed in as board member sometime in October.
We have finally been accepted for Authority Magazine. :) Lara our massively talented photographer and video designer will make a photo of us both, probably in Telliskivi in front of some graffiti, for the article.
I will have a few really great people as part of my team, not happy with one person (again, definitely a values-based issue), but we will see. Others have offered their support in handling the issue, so let's hope.
I've known too many catastrophes in my life, and I am worn out as can be after so many years of struggle, and struggle for peanuts. I know how to make money, but it doesn't fulfil me.
Everyone I talked to so far (it's always a musician, DJ, comedian or performance person I talk to) LOVES the idea of the flashmobs, and wants to get involved. We're talking 3 different continents for now, and a bucketload of different personalities and mindsets.
This must mean that I am now at least on the right track. And after a lovely talk with the infamous "Playing Devil's Advocate" podcast host, we are a lot clearer on where it is going to go. :)
Afterthought: I really need a holiday. LIKE... total laptop and mobile abstinence, lots of care, lots of water, lots of calm and simple beauty. It's urgent.
