Not a bad text, but the conclusion/effect is wrong.
or, rather..the ways used to free the body of its physical frame. We can do without the pain..even though in the status quo, pain very often IS a way to grow/become gradually enlightened. I repeat: IN THE STATUS QUO. A planet ruled by apes.
I do not like the "male" perspective on it here..this martial "what does not kill you only makes you stronger". I heard one radio singer sing that line recently, and wrote some paragraphs on how stupid and unreflected that quote is (that certainly made sense for Nietzsche back then) in a contemporary context.
-and how often it gets reproduced just to justify people's stupidity and ignorance..since: if pain makes us stronger, we can all go kill like apes..cuz in essence we're doing others good. Duh.
(Said this, I LIKE the Swans, especially Jarboe ;)..GREAT LADY..one of my favourite "Angry Women").
I like the part that has to do with the inner light and the fact were all connected and there might be nothing new in what we do because it has all been "done before" (only partly true..since every manifestation of the spirit adds a slighty different shade to creation)..and so on.
But I realize the direction might be good for a song I would like to write that could be a sort of lead helping others to navigate through difficult times, working title: Animo (courage). Though I seriously doubt my english right now. Anyways.
To get back to the above song..introspection is nice, wanting to be only white light is nice..being able to go that deep IS a sign of sensitivity and spirit..but..to be quite honest..however bad it gets..dying will happen eventually, anyways. SO- let's use the time we have to make things BETTER. I said that to "the stylist"..story will follow soon.
